Scientists in China are concerned about the possible departure of Google’s market in the country. A survey of 784 scientists, who conducted the scientific journal Nature, revealed that many participants consider Google a very important part of their research, since it enables the most comprehensive English-language search.

80% of respondents indicated that regularly use Google to search for academic work, while 60% reported that they are looking for information about new research.

Only 17% of respondents used for these purposes Baidu, because Google has a much more complete index. “Study without Google would be like life without electricity”, – said ecologist Nature Ksiong Zhengin.
