During current holiday season only 5% of shoppers visited the sites of major U.S. retail chains under the influence of social media, the study said the company ForeSee Results. According to this index, social media gave publicity newsletter by e-mail and surf the search engines that are able to attract 19% and 8% of visitors respectively. Here, as told Vice President Kevin Ertell ForeSee Results, the effectiveness of social media in 2010 compared to 2009 has not changed.
In a survey company, conducted from November 29 to December 15, 2010, attended by 10,000 visitors to the top 40 websites retailers.
AdWords service announced the new update of its keyword tool in response to number of requests from different users for more keywords, the most relevant account and search quires.
There are three new features:
- First feature: Include and exclude exact terms from a list of keywords;
- Second feature: View detailed results, including exactly all possible words and phrases, that were presented in the search box, or their close synonyms;
- Third feature: “similar results” new option to search selected options from the table.
